Video Scoreboard

We unveiled our video scoreboard at the start of the 2001-2002 season, and since then it's become a fan favourite at our games. During stoppages of play, we show video highlights, instant replays, video clips, music videos, and more. You can even see yourself up on the screen via one of our "fan cams".

The board itself is made up of four back-lit projection screens, each one measuring approximately 100" in diameter. Our video control room is located next to the press box at the top of the arena. From there, we co-ordinate all of the cameras and videos that you see on the screen.

One of our favourite features on the video scoreboard is the "clock cam". The clock cam is a small remote-control camera attached to the bottom of the scoreboard. The camera can "see" all over the lower bowl of the arena. We use it to show the face-off at the beginning of each period, and grab video from both player benches. We can even zoom in on fans in the stands.
