Adopt A School Program

The Ottawa 67's Adopt A School program is a partnership amongst area businesses, local school boards and the Ottawa 67's Hockey Club. Businesses "adopt a school" and invest in season tickets for that school.

An opportunity exists for businesses to connect with students in a unique way. Adopted schools will use tickets as a reward for students achieving academic success or showing improvement.

If your business would like to join this community based initiative, please contact Nicole Hilstob at nhilstob@oseg.ca or 613-232-6767 x8227.

Testimonial:

"Blackburn Shoppes Dental Centre is very proud to be a part of the Adopt-a-School Program.

Over the past four years, we’ve had the honour of donating Ottawa 67’s hockey tickets to local students through their schools. We know that the kids benefit greatly because the school administration uses the tickets to reward kids for improving their reading and writing and demonstrating good behavior. We at Blackburn Shoppes Dental Centre feel that it is our responsibility to give back to our youth because they are our future.

We regularly receive “thank you” cards with little drawings from the students who are the recipients of the tickets. These notes of appreciation give me and all of my staff a boost when we open them. Although we don’t ask for business in return it always amazes me how many people thank us for the tickets and, later, become new patients.

We love the program and encourage other businesses to support our youth and our community through the Ottawa 67’s Adopt-a-School Program."
