Guest Services

Our Guest Services staff is on hand at every game to ensure your game day experience is a positive one. Our Guest Services staff are posted at all arena entrances, and in each seating section. You can easily recognize them by their red jackets. Here's a list of our arena rules and regulations, designed to maximize your enjoyment of the game.

Accessibility
Scotiabank Place is barrier-free for guests with disabilities. Drop off and pick up for guests with disabilities should be made at the Arena Gate 3 entrance located at the southeast corner of Scotiabank Place. All doorways, elevators, restrooms, and telephones are accessible.

Alcoholic Beverage Consumption
The legal drinking age in Ontario is 19. Proper identification is required to purchase alcoholic beverages. Scotiabank Place and Aramark reserve the right to deny the sale of alcohol to anyone. Alcoholic beverages purchased during an event must be consumed or discarded prior to leaving Scotiabank Place.

Bag Inspection Policy

• All bags are subject to inspection.
• Bags that are permitted include small bags, such as purses, knapsacks, and diaper bags (if the guest has a child with them). Management reserves the right to allow other bags based on the guest's special needs on a case-by-case basis.
• Guests who arrive with large bags will be instructed to return the bag to their vehicle. Banned bags will not be “claim-checked” at the gates. If the guest arrives with a banned bag and did not drive to Scotiabank place, the guest will not be permitted to bring the bag into the event and the bag will not be claim-checked. Guests may dispose of the bag at an outside trash receptacle.

Banners

• Banners, flags and signs are not permitted in Scotiabank Place . For Ottawa 67's games, guests are permitted to bring banners into the arena provided they do not interfere with the game and other fans’ enjoyment of the game. Banners can neither cover any advertising or building signs, nor can they compete with existing building signs and advertising and they must not be attached to the building in any manner. They also cannot carry disparaging or obscene messages. Signs greater than 24″ × 24″ in size must be able to roll up or fold. Poles in excess of 36 inches used to display banners or flags are not permitted.

Bringing Items Into Scotiabank Place

• Large bags, food, beverages, bottles, cans, coolers, containers, strollers, glitter or confetti, laser devices, illegal drugs or substances, fireworks, candles, flares, knives, firearms, mace, pepper gas, any item that could obstruct a guest's view of the ice, or any other item deemed dangerous or inappropriate by management are not permitted inside Scotiabank Place.
• Still camera photography is permitted with lenses of reasonable length that do not obstruct the view of other fans and do not require a flash. The use of tripods is not permitted. OHL Photography Policy
  
• Radios and televisions are permitted provided they do not interfere with the enjoyment of the game by other patrons. Please use earphones so as not to disturb other guests.
• Service animals assisting guests with disabilities are welcome in all areas of Scotiabank Place. Please notify your ticket seller at the time of purchase if accessible seating is required for the convenience of your service animal. No other animal or pet is permitted at Scotiabank Place.

Ejection
Any of the following will be cause for ejection from Ottawa 67's hockey games without refund and/or revocation of future ticket privileges: Abuse of intoxicants, fighting, profane or abusive language or gestures, indecent exposure or undressing, offensive or disorderly conduct, excessive standing that obstructs the view of others seated in the area, actions that may harm or endanger others, throwing any object, standing or sitting in the aisles, smoking inside the Civic Centre, bringing prohibited items into the Civic, standing on chairs and/or defacing or damaging any equipment, entering or attempting to enter the playing surface or player's area, wearing any apparel with profane or abusive language, failure to follow the instructions of Scotiabank Place personnel, attempting to solicit or distribute literature or other materials on the premises, entering Scotiabank Place with invalid tickets or credentials, any other conduct or action deemed inappropriate by management.

Elevators
Public elevators, are located at the Arena Gate 3 Entrance.

Emergency
In the event of an emergency, guests can be reached at (613) 599-0128. Caller must provide the individual's name and exact seat location. Public address announcements will only be made to locate a guest in an extreme emergency.

First Aid, Lost and Found
One fully equipped First Aid room is located on the Main concourse behind Sec 201. which is staffed by St. John Ambulance attendants at every Ottawa 67's home game. Contact the nearest Guest Services Host who will summon help or guide you to the First Aid Room.

Lost and found items may be turned in to any Guest Service Staff member or to the Guest Services Booth until the end of the event. To claim a lost article, fans may call the lost and found number 613-599-0100. All items are held for 2 weeks only, after which time they are donated to a local charity.

Gate Opening
On game days all gates will open 90 minutes prior to faceoff. Please arrive early to enjoy all aspects of the game.

Parking
Parking is available at Lansdowne Park for $7 per vehicle (in general lots) until Dec 31, 2012.  Bus parking is available for $35 per vehicle. The Ottawa 67's/Scotiabank Place are not responsible for any damage or theft to vehicles parked in the lot.

Smoking
Scotiabank Place is a non-smoking facility. During Ottawa 67's hockey games, guests may leave and re-enter the building through the available smoking areas behind Sections 208 and 215 to smoke outdoors, one location outside at Gate 1 and one located outside Gate 2. Guests will be reminded that they need to have their tickets scanned in and out.

Arena facilities & services

• Men's/Women's Washrooms - conveniently located throughout the facilty. Please find the closest Guest Services member to assist you
  
• Wheelchair Seating - 203 and 219
  
• Smoking Doors - Are located behind Sections 208, 215. Gate 1 and Gate 2
  
• Alcohol - Alcohol service stops 10 minutes into 3rd period.
• 50/50 Draw - Tables located behind Sections 105/106 . Run by Rideau Kiwanis Club, prize is picked up at Arena Gate 3.
• Will Call - located at Arena Gate 1.
• Center Ice Magazines are given out each game along with line up sheets, free of charge
• Booster Club - Located behind Sections 115ott67sboosterclub@sympatico.ca
• Flash Photography - Not permitted while game is in progress. CHL Photography Policy
  
• Cameras (video & regular) are allowed during mini-teams and intermissions.
• Outside Food & Beverages - unless it is for medical reasons, outside food is prohibited at Scotiabank Place.
  
• Telephones - Payphones are conveniently located throughout the facility. Contact the nearest Guest Services staff memeber for the Bell pay phone nearest you
