17-year old left winger traded to Barrie Colts. Ottawa, ON- The Ottawa 67's today announced they have traded 17-year old left-winger Joe Pleckaitis to Barrie Colts in exchange for a 13th Round Pick in the 2008 OHL Priority Selection.
Pleckaitis, 17, was originally Ottawa's 3rd Round Pick (60th overall) in the 2005 OHL Priority Selection. He skated in 48 games and recorded seven assists to go along with 12 penalty minutes as a rookie last season with the 67's. In 14 games this season with the 67's, Pleckaitis has recorded one goal and six assists.
